  • AN IDEA TO GOOD GOVERNANCE

    Nationality Tolerance

    Man was created in the form of diversity from the aspect of gender, language, ethnicity, race and even religion. All of it is aimed at making people know each other and manage tolerance in order to motivate people to live in peace.

    Tolerance has an important role in shaping and building a pluralistic society paradigm. Establishment of reason and tolerance character can unlock insights about the nations’s diversity. Thus the public will bear sincere and honest character, living in diversity. Tolerance is very important for Indonesia, which has a diverse ethnicities, customs, languages, religions, beliefs and cultures.

    Indonesia is a country with a diverse population of various tribes, cultures, languages and beliefs. All of this must be maintained as a privilege of the nation-state. Diversity can shape the character of the nation and is a valuable capital in building a civilization of a nation’s revival. In history, diversity has been the source of our civilization. We must always preserve the values of tolerance in Indonesia.

    Indonesia must continue to learn to manage differences, including the conflicts which often lead to violence and destruction. Indonesian people which are diverse in terms of ethnic, beliefs, languages and others, is no longer a discourse, but it’s a fact that must be accepted.

    The existence of such intolerant acts of intimidation, violence and attacks of a group against other groups that should become an awareness still has a low tolerance in society. Violence in the name of religion and civil unrest should be resolved through peaceful and civilized way. Religion should be returned to the foundation for a more peaceful life. The role of the clergy and religious leaders is strategic in realizing peace and harmony in society.

    Tolerance is a value that must be cultivated in the individual and public space as one of the goals is to build tolerance to live peacefully in diversity groups, historical background, identity, interests and cultures. Tolerance must imply on accepting distinction, changing of homogeneity to heterogeneity, recognizing the rights of others, respecting the existence of other people and seriously guarding cultural differences and diversity of God’s creation.

    We must do the following actions :

    • We must save the efforts of deprivation to our nationality and tolerance which systematically have pervaded the young generation and society in general. The country should take measures to save the diversity and our pledge of nationality that is contained in Pancasila and the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia.
    • We need to improve political education for young people and citizens through education curriculum integration and open spaces constructively to increase awareness of nationality.
    • Political parties need to improve its performance, especially in efforts to fight for national values through political education for their constituents and the party cadres in order to prepare candidates for state officials who have a national commitment.
    • Public is encouraged to participate in maintaining and ministering Indonesian nationality by not choosing political parties, legislative candidates, presidential candidates who obviously do not have a strong national commitment.

    Community Economic Empowerment

    Democracy Economic Empowerment intended for extracting potential independence and economic development and the empowerment of people through strategic economic development in the Management of Natural Resources / Agricultural Fair and Sustainable, based on the substance which is understood that Democracy Economic Development based on "Tool Production / Production Factor and the Production Process "remains in control, the control and management of people.

    Developing a strategic economic potential which is based locally on cultural roots / local wisdom - the wisdom of local communities.Developing models based on economic development of the people on the basis of self-reliance and independence.

    Reinforcement - the strengthening of public institutions and economic institutions in order to foster and strengthen collective economic system and independent of capital.

    Community economic empowerment can be achieved through neighbourhood cooperative embodiment and small and medium enterprises. Economy in the lowest levels of society will be a potent force that can provide good welfare for individuals and groups, from neighbourhood cooperative embodiment which is formed to provide loans to its members to make small and medium-sized businesses.

    Community economic empowerment is the focus for the program to reduce future unemployment, alleviating poverty, and accelerate regional economic growth, and improve people's lives.

    Utilization of grant funds absorbed by neighbourhood cooperative embodiment  is not separated from the role of local government. But more than that, the success achieved is the credibility of its own citizens which has a significant influence on advanced cooperative financial management.Community Economic empowerment of the people needs attention, support, and confidence of the government to be able to develop in accordance with its potential.

    People need to be empowered to be able to become one of the “engines” for the improvement of people’s welfare (social welfare) as well as more powerful tools to equalize the economic growth and in line with the poverty reduction program (poverty alleviation).

    Politeness of Nation

    Humans are social beings that apparently can not live alone. Politeness plays an important role in social life and culture. The beauty in this behavior is a characteristic that marks our lives in society and culture. Civility or politeness strategy is a tool to keep the harmony and equality among human beings. Politeness gives comfort to every individual in the established social relationships with other individuals or groups.

    Morality is the essence of life itself. Thus, there is no politics without morality. And this is the one that is occurring in Indonesia today, where both the political elite and their behavior do not based on morality. When there is no politics without morality, there is no democracy without morality, because democracy is a political system which is about to give freedom and justice to the people in the social pluralism. Democracy can only be straighten if it’s based on morality.

    Strong and effective leadership is leadership morality. Morality is concerned with whether or not an action is good, the attitude and behavior as well as the actions are acceptable by everyone  as a good and beneficial to the common life. Therefore, someone who wants to be a good and successful leader must have leadership morality.

    At the present time we are still waiting for the presence of leaders who have leadership morality and is truly able to realize good governance in order to materialize a clean government.

    Good governance relates to the attitude of leader who is running a leadership. Then it can not be denied that the issue of morality is a significant one. We believe that the values of Pancasila is the source of moral teaching of uncontested truth, a philosophy of life, in a nation-state pluralistic society as the Indonesian nation.

    Good governance can be done by achieving a good state and a synergy between government, private sector and civil society in the management of natural resources,social, environmental and economic. Minimum prerequisite for achieving  good governance is transparency, accountability, participation, law empowerment, effectiveness and efficiency and fairness. As a form of good governance it must involve community at every level of decision-making process.

    The concept of good governance can be interpreted to be a reference to the process and the good structure of political and socio-economic relations . Human interest is the strongest factor that is currently affecting the merits and whether or not a state is reached as well as good governance. Every human being has an interest, either it is  the interests of individuals, groups, and / or public interest nationally and even internationally. In order to realize each of these interests there is  always conflicts. So also in the realization of what is called "good governance" conflict of interest is always the main opponent. Interests renders a space between individuals and groups that make it difficult to achieve the word "agreement". Good governance is basically a concept that refers to the process of decision making and implementation which can be accounted for together. As a consensus reached by the government, citizens and the private sector for the implementation of governance in a country, State has a role to provide services for the welfare of the people with a good judicial system and the system of government that is accountable to the public.
     

    Various national issues is the reason good governance is not running well. By implementing the principles of good governance, the three pillars, namely the government, corporations, and civil society nurturing, support and actively participate in governance.. Especially between the government and the society become an important part of achieving good governance. Without good governance it is difficult for each side to be able to contribute to each other and watch each other. Good governance can not be achieved if the integrity of the government who’s running the country can not be guaranteed. Consistency of government and society should be guaranteed as a manifestation of their respective roles in the government. Each party must move and carry out their duties in accordance with their respective authorities

    MARINUS GEA, SE., M.Ak.

    Lahir di Gunungsitoli tanggal 6 Januari 1973.
    yang kini menjadi anggota legistlatif DPR RI 2014-2019, Daerah pemilihan Banten 3 yang meliputi wilayah Kabupaten Tangerang, Kota Tangerang dan Kota Tangerang Selatan.

    Pendidikan

    Alumnus Universitas Mercu Buana, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Jurusan Akuntansi. Kemudian menyelesaikan pendidikannya di Pasca Sarjana Universitas yang sama program studi Magister Akuntansi. Selain pendidikan formal yang ditempuhnya, Marinus Gea, SE., M.Ak juga mengikuti berbagai pendidikan non formal melalui berbagai kursus, lokakarya dan seminar-seminar.

    Organisasi

    Aktif di berbagai organisasi kemasyarakatan, di antaranya adalah Himpunan Masyarakat Nias Indonesia (HIMNI) sebagai bendahara umum sampai sekarang. Organisasi ini adalah organisasi masyarakat asal Kepulauan Nias di seluruh Indonesia. Beliau juga merupakan salah seorang pendiri HIMNI yang didirikan pada bulan Oktober 2000.

    Kemudian ada lagi organisasi masyarakat yang bernama TOZ (Tolamaera Orudua Zato), yaitu komunitas masyarakat asal Nias yag mengambil garis keturunan kakek GEA se-Jabodetabek. Beliau merupakan pendiri dan ketua TOZ yang didirikan di bulan April 2012.

    Beliau juga salah satu pengurus Ikatan Keluarga Masyarakat Nias Tangerang (IKMNT) dari tahun 1996 sampai dengan sekarang dan aktif sebagai pengurus Gereja Nias Tangerang dari tahun 2000 sampai sekarang. Kemudian ada organisasi pemuda yang bernama Forum Komunikasi Pemuda Nias Tangerang yang merupakan forum pemuda Tangerang asal Nias yag berdomisili di Tangerang Kota, Tangerang Selatan dan Kabupaten Tangerang. Beliau sebagai pengurus dari tahun 1999 sampai dengan sekarang. Adapula organisasi pemuda dimana bertindak selaku pengurus dari tahun 2000 sampai 2004, yaitu Forum Komunikasi Pemuda Nias se-Jabodetabek.

    Politik

    Kiprah seorang Marinus Gea di dunia politik diawali di tahun 2003 ketika beliau menjabat sebagai Wakil Sekretaris Jenderal Partai Damai Kasih Bangsa (PDKB). Kemudian tahun 2004 terlibat pada saat pencalonan Ibu Megawati yaitu menjadi relawan Komando Bela Mega. Di tahun 2012 terlibat di organisasi sayap partai PDI Perjuangan, Taruna Merah Putih (TMP) dan menjadi Ketua DPC Taruna Merah Putih (TMP) Kota Tangerang.

    Diluar aktivitasnya di dunia politik, sejak Juni 2012 melalui Musyawarah Nasional FSP KEP SPSI beliau menjadi salah seorang pengurus pusat dari organisasi buruh ini.

    Marinus Gea, pelaksana tugas yang diamanatkan Partai PDI Perjuangan sebagai Anggota legislatif 2014-2019 mempunyai motto:

    "Berbuat, Bertumbuh dan Berbuah dengan menjaring aspirasi rakyat menuju keadilan ekonomi, kesantunan dan toleransi berbangsa".

    Berjuang untuk Kesejahteraan Rakyat.
